Check Point reveals Global Threat Index with Formbook as top malware

Cybersecurity provider Check Point’s Global Threat Index has reported a major phishing campaign on over 40 firms in Colombia, which has boosted the Remcos Trojan. It has become a prominent malware, but fell just short of Formbook, known for its abilities as an infostealer. Education is the most targeted industry for phishing attacks. Qbot, a significant malware, is no longer on the top list following FBI intervention.
