CherryBlos is a family of Android malware capable of stealing sensitive information from your photos, such as details related to your cryptocurrency wallet. Experts have discovered malicious Android apps carrying CherryBlos, including one disguised as a cryptocurrency-mining app named SynthNet. Cybercriminals promote these apps on social media platforms like Telegram and TikTok. Besides stealing wallet credentials, CherryBlos can imitate legitimate cryptocurrency apps and reroute transactions to hackers’ accounts. Experts advise avoiding downloads from untrusted sources and running anti-virus software to counter this threat.
