China Medical University Hospital leverages Google’s genAI for cancer care

China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) has signed a collaboration with Google Cloud to use its artificial intelligence (AI) tool, MedLM, for aiding doctors in cancer care. MedLM provides data analysis for bespoke cancer treatment plans, patient education, and medical research. In addition, CMUH is using Google’s AI accelerators to develop new drugs. This partnership aims to introduce AI-assisted healthcare models in the Chinese-speaking market, lightening clinicians’ workloads.
