Chinese Hackers Accidentally Infected European Hospital with Malware

Chinese hacker group Camaro Dragon unwittingly infected a European hospital with malware via an employee’s USB drive. The malware, originally intended for Asian targets, infiltrated global healthcare systems as an unintended side effect. Cybersecurity firm Check Point believes the malware poses significant risk to corporate systems, emphasising its potential to unintentionally infect network drives and access important data. Check Point notified developers of a security software utilised by the malware.
