CIOs see value in mission-driven vets

There is a shortage of qualified talent in the healthcare IT industry, while there is a high unemployment rate amongst US veterans. The HIMSS Veterans Career Services Initiative aims to solve both problems by offering returning veterans education and resources related to the health IT industry and allowing them to work with IT professionals.
