CISA Plan Aligns Cybersecurity Across Federal Agencies

The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has launched a plan to better align federal agencies’ cyber defences. The FCEB Operational Cybersecurity Alignment (FOCAL) plan, which spans asset management, vulnerability management, defensible architecture, cyber supply chain risk management, and incident response, seeks to correct the disparate security postures identified across the more than 100 federal agencies. The plan intends to enable “more consistent cybersecurity posture and baseline security hygiene” if implemented correctly.
