CISA platform helps agencies uncover more than 1,000 cyber vulnerabilities

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Vulnerability Disclosure Policy Platform has helped government agencies address more than 1,000 potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities since its launch in July 2021. CISA’s first report on the platform revealed that around 84% of the bugs reported were remediated, with each taking an average of 38 days to fix. The program–participated in by 40 agency programs–has allowed researchers to report validated vulnerabilities through the platform. CISA is encouraging further use of the platform.
