Cisco reports major security flaw, users urged to patch immediately

Cisco has discovered a critical vulnerability in some of its devices which hackers are exploiting to gain full control of networks. The vulnerability exists in the Web User Interface of Cisco IOS XE software on routers, switches and other endpoint devices. The company has released a patch and urges users to apply it immediately. About 80,000 endpoints are reportedly affected.
