Clarion audio hacked, Egyptian Predator threat, Dallas attack analysis

Car audio manufacturer Clarion, former Egyptian lawmaker Ahmed Altantawy, the City of Dallas, and Bermuda have all fallen victim to cyberattacks. Clarion experienced a hack, ALTantawy was targeted by spyware after announcing a presidential bid, Dallas was hit by ransomware affecting 30,000 people’s PII, and Bermuda had its internet service disrupted by Russia-based threat actors. Hotels and travel industries are also under threat from a social engineering-based theft campaign.
