ClearData releases GDPR compliance tools for hospitals

ClearData has developed cloud-based dashboard and reporting technology to help healthcare customers comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The company’s tool allows healthcare organizations to visually monitor their compliance with GDPR’s technical requirements, with penalties for noncompliance potentially costing up to 4% of a health system’s gross annual income or $23.4 million. The GDPR regulation, more stringent than HIPAA, will go into effect in two days.
