Cybercrime Squad detectives have arrested a man in connection with a mass data breach affecting around one million people in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. The breach involved patrons of NSW clubs having their personal information, including driver’s license details, exposed on a website. The police are investigating the case under Strike Force Division. Many of the victims are believed to be people of prominence. OutABox, a tech company that supplies gaming and hospitality products to some of the clubs affected, is also purportedly involved.
