Colorado pastor accused of multimillion dollar crypto scheme

Eli Regalado, a pastor in Colorado, and his wife, Kaitlyn, are accused of defrauding hundreds of local Christians in a cryptocurrency scheme, raising over $3m (£2.4m) by selling a practically worthless coin, INDXcoin. Despite a report indicating the INDXcoin was insecure and riddled with technical issues, the couple allegedly misled investors, promising it as a low-risk, high-profit endeavor. The couple is scheduled to appear in court next week.
