Coronavirus: Security flaws found in NHS contact-tracing app
Security flaws found in the UK’s Covid-19 contact-tracing app, reportedly already known to the GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre and being addressed, require legal protections against misuse of data and a switch to a decentralised processing model, associate professor at Melbourne’s School of Computing and Information Systems Dr Chris Culnane has said. Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock countered the claims, saying that the Data Protection Act is enough.
