Crescent Regional Hospital is first to offer hologram patient visits

Crescent Regional Hospital in Texas is using 3D holographic technology for non-touch patient visits and is planning further usage. The technology allows medical staff to see a full view of a patient’s anatomy to improve care and provide interactive visual learning for remote training. Developed by Netherlands-based Holoconnects, the technology includes hologram visits, remote patient consultations, remote surgery assistance, and remote diagnostics. CEO Raji Kumar said the holograms provide greater accessibility and efficiency.
