Critical incident declared as cyber attack affects major London hospitals

A ransomware cyber attack on pathology services provider Synnovis has heavily impacted hospitals and primary care services in London, including King’s College Hospital, St Thomas’ and the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Procedures and operations have been cancelled or redirected as a result. Synnovis is working with security and law enforcement to investigate the incident.
