Delta Air Lines plans to take cybersecurity company CrowdStrike to court after a software update caused more than 5,000 of Delta’s flights to be cancelled. The incident, revealed in July, was due to a faulty update issued by CrowdStrike that caused its Falcon sensors to fail, affecting millions of systems globally. CrowdStrike has defended its role, stating it provided assistance to help customers recover and criticised Delta for not taking advantage of its services. A lawsuit has not yet been launched.
