Cryptojacking campaign Qubitstrike targets exposed Jupyter Notebook instances

Jupyter Notebook instances are being compromised by Qubitstrike, a new attack campaign that deploys cryptojacking malware. Researchers from cloud forensics and incident response firm, Cado Security, found that the operation steals AWS and Google Cloud credentials from compromised servers using Discord for command and control. Qubitstrike malware establishes itself on the system persistently and uses malicious scripts to download a cryptocurrency mining program onto it.
