CVS Health launches initiative to track extreme heat

CVS Health is launching an initiative to help vulnerable people manage the health impacts of extreme weather events such as prolonged heat. The company is leveraging data analytics to forecast weather and environmental factors, helping to tailor outreach and care plans to at-risk individuals up to seven days in advance. The initiative is currently available to CVS Health Aetna members.
