Cyber attack on hospitals impacts 1,130 operations in London

A cyber attack on London hospitals’ pathology services provider Synnovis has caused over 1,130 operations and 2,190 outpatient appointments to be postponed, hitting King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust hardest. It could be months before everything returns to normal, according to insiders. Mutual aid agreements between NHS labs have helped increase available blood tests for critical cases.
