Cyber-attack on London hospitals declared critical incident

Major hospitals in London, including King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’, have declared a ‘critical incident’ after a cyber-attack affected pathology services provider Synnovis, disrupting several medical services. This has caused cancellations of operations and emergency patients being redirected elsewhere. NHS England, in collaboration with Synnovis, is investigating the impact.
