Cyber-attack on London hospitals to take ‘many months’ to resolve | NHS

A cyber-attack by Russian criminal group, Qilin, targeting private firm Synnovis, is causing significant disruptions for hospitals and surgeries in London and is projected to take many months to resolve. Synnovis, which analyzes blood tests, suffered a major ransomware attack, jeopardizing services for six NHS trusts and several GP practices. Various non-critical procedures have been cancelled though plans are in place to offload some operations to other hospitals.
