Cyber breach impacts family violence, sex assault data

Personal information of about 4,000 people held by Australia’s Monash Health has been affected in a data breach. The information relates to family violence and sexual assault data collected between 1970 and 1993. The breach occurred at third-party company ZircoDATA which scanned archived documents for the health service. Monash Health confirmed its systems were not impacted and it is working to understand what data was compromised.
