Cyberattacks target Israeli websites following Hamas assault

Hackers, suspected of being from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Morocco, have targeted Israeli websites following an attack by Hamas. The cyberattacks reportedly defaced more than five websites and took down over 60 through distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. Besides hacktivist groups, cybercrime service operators are also offering their services in the conflict. The incidents come a week after the International Committee of the Red Cross published rules regulating hacker activities in military conflicts.
