Cyberattacks on healthcare facilities have risen by 125% in the past year, with rural hospitals being particularly at risk. The situation arises as rural hospitals usually have outdated IT infrastructures and insufficient IT staff. To assist, Microsoft and Google are offering discounted or free cybersecurity services to these healthcare providers.
