Cybercrime, falsi portali di news diffondono malware

Cybersecurity experts at Malwarebytes discovered that cybercriminals are using fake news portals to spread malware. They observed that Threat Actors copied a legitimate Windows news portal (WindowsReport.com) to distribute a malicious installer for the popular processor tool CPU-Z: FakeBat. This is part of a bigger malvertising campaign targeting other utilities like Notepad++, Citrix, and VNC Viewer.
