Cybercrime to cost Germany 206 billion euros in 2023, survey finds

Theft of IT equipment and digital espionage will cost Germany €206 billion ($224 billion) in 2023 according to a survey by Bitkom, a digital association. The survey found that 52% of companies see cyber attacks as an existential threat, up from 45% a year earlier. 70% of attacked companies reported the theft of sensitive data.
