Cybercriminals publish data from NHS hospital cyberattack online

NHS England has reported that patient data managed by pathology services company, Synnovis, has been stolen in a recent cyber attack. While Synnovis has confirmed no Laboratory Information Management Systems databases were compromised, its administrative working drive containing some patient data was exposed. Investigations continue to ascertain exactly what data was stolen and who it impacts. Synnovis and NHS England have been working to manage the impact on patients and continue to deliver services.
