Cybercriminals publish data from NHS hospital cyberattack online

UK health service provider, Synnovis’ patient data was stolen in a cyberattack on 3 June. The analysis is underway to understand the potential impact, but initial reviews show no evidence that databases holding patient test requests and results were compromised. Operations in several London hospitals were cancelled due to the data breach, believed to be caused by Russian hackers seeking ransom payments.
