CyberMaxx Releases Third Quarter 2023 Ransomware Research Report

In Q3 2023, ransomware attacks increased by 59% compared to Q2 and showed a 101% increase from Q1, amounting to a total of 1,826 attacks, according to CyberMaxx’s Ransomware Research Report. The top five ransomware groups are AlphV, Lockbit, Cl0p, 8base, and Play. CyberMaxx advises organizations to be vigilant of malware such as DarkGate, Emotet, QakBot, and Redline.
