Cybersecurity battleground – Status of cyber threat info sharing

Improvements have been made in the information sharing on cybersecurity threats, however a lot more work is needed. A common problem discussed by a panel including NSA and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency representatives is how to effectively distribute essential information while filtering out “noise”. This problem is set to grow as data increases. Other challenges include finding a common language between analysts and intelligence collectors, creating data privacy policies, and increasing the small pool of consumers using cyber threat information.
