Cybersecurity firm Check Point Research reported a 50% increase in cyberattacks on corporate networks in 2021 compared to 2020, with education, government, and healthcare sectors being the most targeted. The firm also noted that organizations in Africa experienced the highest rate of attacks, followed by the APAC region, Latin America, Europe, and North America.
