Dark Pink APT Group Compromised 13 Organizations

Singapore’s cybersecurity firm Group-IB report reveals that Dark Pink, an APT group, targetted 13 institutions in 9 countries mainly in the Asia-Pacific region during 2023. The hacking group’s activities were unveiled in January 2023, attributing three 2022 attacks to them. The group widely uses spear-phishing emails and continually upgrades their tools to dodge cyber defenses. Group-IB also detected their new GitHub account. Victims are warned proactively, aligning with a zero-tolerance policy on cybercrime.
