Data allegedly stolen in Ticketmaster hack

Hacker group ShinyHunters claims to have stolen the personal details of 560 million Ticketmaster customers, demanding $500,000 to prevent the data from being sold. The compromised data reportedly includes names, addresses, phone numbers and partial credit card details. The Australian government and FBI are assisting in the incident. Cybersecurity experts have cautioned that these claims could be false, as the group has previously inflated breach scale claims. Ticketmaster has not yet confirmed nor denied the alleged security breach.
