Data Breach At Health Insurance Giant Costs Company More Than $800 Million

UnitedHealth Group has reported a loss of $872 million due to a data breach by hackers. This was despite the healthcare insurance giant making $7.9 billion in earnings and $99.8 billion in revenue. The breach that affected millions of sensitive client records has caused payment disruptions spanning over a month. The firm is also the subject of an antitrust investigation by the Department of Justice.
