Over 6 million people have been affected by a data breach at Infosys McCamish Systems (IMS), with information varying from social security numbers to financial account details being compromised. Around 11,866 Maine residents were among those affected. The LockBit ransomware gang has claimed responsibility for the attack. This follows a data breach in February that impacted 57,028 customers of Bank of America, one of Infosys’s key clients.
