Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’
Bitdefender believes that the Russian cybercriminal group, Qilin, is responsible for a cyber attack on Synnovis, a pathology service provider in South-East London. The attackers leaked around 400GB of data, including patient information, on the darknet and Telegram. Two weeks following the attack, hundreds of operations and appointments are still being cancelled. Both the National Crime Agency and the National Cybersecurity Center are engaged in verifying the data.
