Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’

Patient data stolen from UK-based pathology services provider Synnovis in a 3 June ransomware attack, allegedly by Russian group Qilin, has been posted online. The healthcare-related data, amounting to 400 GB, was leaked on a darknet site and Telegram channel. Over 1,800 patients have been affected in terms of cancellations and rescheduled appointments in the fortnight following the attack. The National Crime Agency is working on verifying the exposed data.
