Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’
NHS provider Synnovis, a pathology service for blood tests, suffered a cyber attack on June 3rd, reportedly by Russian group Qilin. The cybercriminal group later published 400GB of stolen data online, including patient details and financial arrangements between hospitals and Synnovis. It has led to hundreds of cancelled operations and appointments, and the NHS is investigating the content of the published data.
