Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’

London pathology firm Synnovis fell victim to a cyber attack by Russian group Qilin, resulting in hundreds of cancelled operations and appointments. The attack allegedly resulted in 400GB of patient data, including names, birth dates and blood test descriptions, being leaked. NHS England is currently working to determine the content of the published data and has established a helpline for concerned individuals.
