Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’

Data from a ransomware attack on NHS provider Synnovis has been made public by a cyber criminal group, leading to the cancellation of hundreds of operations and appointments. The breach, thought to be orchestrated by the Russian group Qilin, included patient names, dates of birth, and blood test descriptions. The National Crime Agency is assisting in verifying the leaked data and a helpline has been set up.
