Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’

UK pathology services provider Synnovis was hit by a cyberattack believed to have been carried out by Russian hackers on 3 June. They have reportedly published 400GB of stolen data on darknet sites, causing hundreds of operations and appointments to be cancelled. NHS England has confirmed that it is working with the National Cyber Security Centre and the National Crime Agency to assess the content of the published files.
