Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’

UK pathology services provider Synnovis was targeted by a cyber attack on 3 June. The attack, believed to be perpetrated by Russian group Qilin, resulted in the cancellation of hundreds of operations and appointments. The group released almost 400GB of data, including patient details and financial records. NHS England and the National Crime Agency are investigating the incident.
