Data Leak Hits Thousands of NHS Workers

Approximately 14,000 employees at a Liverpool NHS hospital trust have had their data leaked via email due to human error. The information, which included personal details such as names, addresses, and National Insurance numbers, was included in a spreadsheet sent to numerous NHS managers and 24 external accounts. The violation of GDPR law may lead to compensation claims against the trust.
