A recent survey found that only 38 percent of Americans believe their personal health data is properly protected. Over 60 percent cited privacy concerns, such as data breaches, as the reason for not using telemedicine or wearable fitness trackers. Furthermore, a significant portion of respondents were unsure if proper data safeguards were in place. However, Americans were more open to the idea of using AI technology in healthcare. Trust issues also emerged regarding implantable medical devices, with fewer people considering them for family members.
