Data stolen in cyber attack on health board published on dark web
A cyber attack on Scotland’s NHS Dumfries and Galloway has led to a “significant amount” of data, including staff and patient details, being published on the dark web. The hackers, who had accessed the information in February and released some in March, had threatened to release more. The health board has set up a helpline as investigations continue; Police Scotland, the National Cyber Security Centre and the Scottish Government are involved.
