Data stolen in cyber attack on health board published on dark web

Cyber criminals that attacked UK’s National Health Service (NHS) Dumfries and Galloway have published stolen data on the dark web. The content includes patient and staff-identifiable information. A helpline has been launched for those concerned and an investigation is in progress. According to the health board, this type of criminal behaviour was expected, reinforcing the need for proactive cybersecurity measures.
