Data stolen in cyber attack on health board published on dark web

Scottish National Health Service (NHS) trust Dumfries and Galloway have confirmed that sensitive patient and staff data accessed by cyber criminals has been published online. Following the attack in February, cyber criminals threatened to release patient data, which has now been published on the dark web. NHS Dumfries and Galloway have set up a helpline for concerned parties and is working with the National Cyber Security Centre and the Scottish Government as the investigation continues.
