Digital at the core of a collaborative care model

Island Hospital in Malaysia is implementing a collaborative model of care by using digital technology in order to maintain rising global healthcare costs. The model enables healthcare providers to reach and treat a larger demographic, optimizing healthcare utilization and lowering healthcare expenditures. Through a hospital and clinical information system named Vesalius and a patient mobile app named VESALIUS.m, the hospital allows greater patient engagement and foster preventative care.
