Digital Trust a New Tech on Dependability of Systems

The digital trust was highly active in 2022, with companies suffering data breaches costing an average of $4.35 million and 493.33 million ransomware attacks worldwide. While the banking and finance sector was the most trusted, other sectors faced security challenges. Around 34% of Gen Z consumers distrusted online stores, and 87% would shift businesses if trust was shaken. On a global scale, Sweden had the highest digital trust index and the US was ranked in 22nd position.
