DJI suffers alleged data breach at the hands of R00TK1T

Chinese drone manufacturer DJI has reportedly suffered a data breach at the hands of the R00TK1T ransomware gang. The group alleges to have stolen customer data including payment methods, contact and shipping details. A breach at DJI raises security concerns due to the company’s drones being used by governments, potentially leading to further attacks on critical infrastructure. DJI has yet to comment on the alleged breach.
